Our mission in Bergen continues to grow by the grace of God, and we now seek to create a home for worship – a place where the beauty of Orthodoxy might shine forth in our midst, where both the timeless beauty of the Orthodox tradition and the rich heritage of Norwegian traditional art and church architecture are reflected. In a time when many are searching, we believe that true beauty can open the heart and draw the soul toward God. By weaving together these traditions, honoring both the faith and the artistry of generations past, we want our church to bear witness that God has drawn near – here, in this place, and in this time. All work will be carried out using natural materials and traditional techniques.
