The student dorm at our building in Kringsjåveien 28 is more than just a place to live. It’s for students who desire to:
- Deepen their faith in Jesus Christ by:
- Starting and ending their day with communal prayer
- Delve deeper into the faith of the Church with regular gatherings and lectures
- Find friends of faith and spiritual direction
- Live in a warm and supportive community with other students and young adults:
- Get to know people from different parts of the world
- Grow as an individual and get to know yourself better
- Participate in regular communal meals and social events
At the heart of the building lies a chapel where we hold regular services open to students and others who wish to join. Additionally, there is a caretaker living in the apartment on the 3rd floor who is responsible for the daily operations of the dorm. The parish priest and others are also available for those who seek guidance.
We warmly welcome Christians from all backgrounds to apply for a room with us. The student residence belongs to the parish of the Annunciation of the mother of God. Services and the spiritual life will follow the tradition of the Orthodox Church. The most important criterion for living here is a desire to live in a good community and delve deeper into the Christian faith. Primarily for students.
